What’s Coming to Pokémon GO LIVE Tour: Unova?
New Music, Avatar Items, and More
Experience the World Premiere of New Music
Get ready for brand-new music inspired by Pokémon Black Version, Pokémon White Version, Pokémon Black Version 2, and Pokémon White Version 2. This soundtrack was composed by Junichi Masuda, the legendary Pokémon video game composer and Chief Creative Fellow at The Pokémon Company. You’ll hear these fresh tracks while exploring the map, catching Pokémon, battling in Raids, and loading into the game.
Reshiram or Zekrom? Choose Your Event Badge in the Special Research
During the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, Trainers will have the chance to select between two event badges: Black Version (Reshiram) or White Version (Zekrom). Your choice will determine specific rewards and bonuses!
To maximize these bonuses, start the special research story “It’s Not Over Yet” and choose your event badge once it becomes available. This research will be accessible starting Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10 AM local time.
For Trainers Choosing the Black Version Badge (Reshiram):
Special Research rewards featuring Reshiram.
All Kyurem encountered after defeating Black Kyurem in five-star Raids will learn the charged move Glaciate.
For Trainers Choosing the White Version Badge (Zekrom):
Special Research rewards featuring Zekrom.
All Kyurem encountered after defeating White Kyurem in five-star Raids will learn the charged move Glaciate.
Your selected badge may unlock even more surprises, so stay tuned for upcoming announcements.
Note: Trainers with tickets for Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – New Taipei City or Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Los Angeles will not select badges. Instead, all Kyurem encountered after defeating Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in five-star Raids will automatically learn Glaciate.
New Avatar Items to Unlock During Pokémon GO Tour: Unova!
All Trainers can unlock the GO Tour 2025 T-shirt as the first reward from the free Tour Pass. Upgrading to the Tour Pass Deluxe will grant access to the Kyurem Helmet as a progression reward.
The Tour Pass and Tour Pass Deluxe will be available from Monday, February 24, at 10 AM until Sunday, March 2, at 6 PM local time. Trainers can claim avatar items and all other Tour Pass rewards until Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 6 PM local time.
The following avatar items will be available for purchase in the in-game shop starting Monday, February 24, 2025:
Black Kyurem Wings
White Kyurem Backpack
Additionally, the Shiny Meloetta T-shirt will be available as a reward from a new Masterwork Research. This research can be purchased in the in-game shop between Monday, February 24, at 10 AM and Sunday, March 2, at 6 PM local time. The Masterwork Research does not expire, so you can complete it at your own pace.
Enhance Your Unova Celebration with Event Add-Ons
For a more immersive experience, Trainers can purchase Road to Unova event add-ons.
Road to Unova: Raids – Unlock Raid-themed bonuses and the Black & White Jogger Pants avatar item.
Road to Unova: Hatching – Gain incubation-related bonuses, Pokémon encounters, and the Black & White Hoodie avatar item.
These tickets will be available for purchase from Monday, February 24, at 10 AM until Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 6 PM local time. Trainers can purchase one or both tickets. Each ticket grants access to exclusive timed research tasks, rewards, and bonuses.
Exclusive Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Stickers
Trainers attending in-person Pokémon GO Tour: Unova events in Los Angeles and New Taipei City will have access to Pokémon GO Tour: Unova-themed stickers from PokéStops and Gifts during these times:
Friday, February 21, at 9 AM – Sunday, February 23, at 8 PM local time
Monday, February 25, at 9 AM – Sunday, March 2, at 8 PM local time
These exclusive stickers will also be available for purchase in the in-game shop from Friday, February 21, at 9 AM until Sunday, March 2, at 8 PM local time.
